The Noble Children

“Who’s caring for America’s children?” To students across the United States, it appears that the adults who legislate have not measured up - have not stepped up diligently and courageously to keep them safe. After the Parkland high school tragedy, over 600 March For Our Lives marches on March 24 in communities throughout the US have been initiated by students to demand that their lives and safety be a legislative priority and that gun violence in schools be eliminated.

Something Good Is Happening – Part IV

In the aftermath of the Parkland, Florida shooting, art and music therapists came to the Coral Springs Museum of Art to create a safe, welcoming space for the community. Under the auspices of the museum’s Healing Through Art program, a steady stream of participants came for several days to create art, listen to music, cuddle with therapy dogs. All were comforted. Bree Gordon is one of the music therapists who responded without hesitation to share their healing kindness in action.
