Women’s Rights = Rights for All!

Now that National Women’s History Month 2019 is in the rearview mirror, let’s take a moment to reflect on what has been acknowledged during the month. It’s a significant send-up of the inherent values that have motivated women through the years to overcome obstacles and break limitations – for themselves, other women and all of humanity.

Since “the heart moves the hands,” and intention compels action, we created memes to share powerful ideas from women, past and present, that are continuing to influence thought in a positive and progressive direction. Who’s Had Your Back?

We also celebrated women who support each other in making history today – family, friends, teachers, activists – by asking for names to put on the backs of jerseys. There are now 50 names on jerseys on our Women Making History Wall of Fame. Let’s think of the Wall as representing “Team Humanity”! A lot of positive influence represented on that wall may not be in history books, but the good done is written on the hearts of individuals who just might be in the future.
