Women’s History Month: Who Made History In Your Life? Tell Us!

To literally kick off National Women’s History Month this year, the US Women’s National Team (soccer) did something special at the SheBelieves Cup match with England. Each member was asked to select the name of a woman who has inspired them – and wore that name on the back of their jersey. The choices ranged from activists to Nobel Prize winners, to artists, athletes and trailblazers, from historic to present-day. Pretty special.

So in the story of your life, who would you put on your jersey?

Who has inspired you, encouraged you, nudged you – demanded a better you that you couldn’t quite see at the time (but it was in you!). Mom – BFF – Teacher – Activist – Author? These are the influential individuals who gave you a clearer vision of what life can become, or maybe they have x-ray vision and see how grand you already are!

Whoever is on the back of your jersey is there for one reason: they have always HAD your back!

How about you thanking them now? Submit your name(s) in the comments section or on our Facebook page – Together, we’ll create a Women Making History Wall of Fame!

UPDATE: Your nominee names have been put on jerseys. Have a look at the growing wall of fame!
