Euphrates Chapter Leader in the Democratic Republic of the Congo experienced this first hand when he organized a concert for people with albinism and non-albinos. Discrimination towards those with albinism is prevalent in the DRC, as ignorance perpetuates the belief that albinism is a curse.

To be lionhearted in living your spiritual nature moves you forward, regardless of opposition or resistance or struggle. All of our communities – our humanity, really – need more lionhearted spirituality lived today.

The Ever-Expanding Room At The Table!

What a surprising and fulfilling month has been our “Room At The Table” month! We’ve seen how the animating and compelling motive to include others in the bounty of spiritual qualities one has to share can lead to wonderful, life-affirming discoveries.

Widening our family circle

Since January I have begun to teach German to two groups of refugees – one class includes six young men from Eritrea, and the other is a husband and wife from Afghanistan. Each of them has a special place in my heart.
