Organization 100+ Women Who Care

Opportunity

First launched in Jackson, Michigan in 2006, 100+ Women Who Care now has over 750 chapters around the world. Committed to a grassroots organizational structure, individual chapters create a giving circle and raise money for local needs.  Groups tend to meet quarterly, follow a simple structure for nominating/learning about local charitable organizations, vote on a specific organization, and then gather checks to give directly to the “winner.”  Learn more about 100+ Women Who Care in our profile, “There is so much good is going on!”

This simple concept for community-based giving has grown to include groups of women, men, children, people in a 100 Who Care Alliance.  Visit the alliance’s website to find a local chapter near you and to find out how to start a chapter if one does not already exist.
